Subject allocation results published for two units of Dhaka University admission test

Dhaka University has announced the subject allocation results for successful candidates of the 2024–25 undergraduate admission tests. Full allocation results have been released for two units, while partial results have been published for one. Interview dates have also been announced on the university’s official admissions website.

According to the university’s admissions portal, the first phase of subject allocation for undergraduate programmes—excluding the Business Studies stream under the Business Studies Unit—has been published. Selected candidates must pay a non-refundable confirmation fee online and appear in person for interviews on the specified dates with their original SSC and HSC grade sheets or mark sheets. The respective unit offices will retain the original documents.

Interview schedule

Interviews for candidates allocated subjects under the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Social Sciences Unit will be held from 27 to 29 April. Specifically, interviews for the Humanities stream will take place on 27 and 28 April, while those for the Science and Business streams will be held on 29 April. For the Science Unit, interviews for students who received subject allocations in the first phase will be conducted on 24 April. Further details can be found on the Science Unit’s notice board.

Business Studies Unit update

Meanwhile, results for only the Science and Humanities streams under the Business Studies Unit have been published. The multiple-choice (MCQ) portion of the admission test for candidates of the Commerce stream, who were present during the previous session, will be held on 17 May at 3 PM. The exam will take place at previously designated venues with a revised seating arrangement. Further information is available on the admissions website.
