The journey was during the cold days of December. Traveling late at night on the bus with a chilly breeze made the start of the trip feel amazing.

A brief escape to Sreemangal offered more than scenic beauty. It was a reminder that the best journeys are often unplanned. A sudden decision after exams led to quiet roads, misty tea gardens and the healing silence of nature. Simple moments defined the experience. A warm plate of khichuri after a long journey, red tea on a wooden veranda and an evening game of badminton beneath dim lights. The visit brought a deeper reflection. Behind the breathtaking tea gardens are workers who toil from dawn to dusk, often for meagre wages. Their labour sustains the beauty and industry that visitors admire.
