Rupayan Group is seeking an AGM – Construction who is the right talent for this position and has expertise in government construction projects.

Position: AGM – Construction, Rupayan Construction Ltd.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project management, project costing, material management, planning & progress monitoring, subcontractor management, overall supervision, liaison, and bill preparation
• Ability to run projects independently
• Lead the team of engineers, supervisors & technical support staff independently
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Manage project sites to monitor construction progress according to design and management decisions
• Estimate materials as per requisition in accordance with project budget, guidelines and policies
• Assist in renovation works (as and when required at site)
• Check contractors’ bills for additional work
• Ensure proper housekeeping, HSE and safety/security in the project area
• Communicate with head office regarding implementation works
• Prepare construction plans and follow up implementation
• Quality control of construction material and ensure wastage control during work and stacking materials
• Build effective relationships with PD/ED of the procuring entity/body
• Proven experience in e-tendering, tender preparation and tender bidding
• Maintain close liaison with different government/semi-government organisations (Army, Navy, Air Force, RAJUK, PWD, MES, Civil Aviation & City Corporation) for project purposes
• Report to the Director – Operation, Construction

Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience

• At least 14 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

• Age: 35 to 48 years
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
• Skilled in Microsoft (MS) Project & MS Office programmes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of drawing & design concepts
• Minimum 2 years in a similar position & at least 8 years’ experience with reputed construction companies
• Proven experience in PWD/LGED/MES with strong leadership capability will be an advantage
