
Assistant/Deputy Manager | AKIJ Mediplex
Position Title: Assistant/Deputy Manager – Production (AKIJ Mediplex)
Responsibilities & Context
- Provide direction to plan and coordinate manufacturing activities in line with company objectives and goals
- Ensure sales forecasts and deadlines are met
- Provide leadership in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing functions, and materials requirement planning
- Monitor daily production activities and guide improvements in productivity through proper utilisation of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Ensure compliance with quality, cGMP, and safety standards to meet company specifications and both national and international regulations
- Standardise operations to achieve cost reduction
- Prepare the annual plant budget and impose budgetary control on factory expenses
- Mentor and develop staff
- Ensure all documentation, including BMR, BPR, SOP, etc., is properly maintained
Education
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Engineering
- Graduate in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biomedical Engineering
Experience
- 8 to 12 years
- Applicants should have experience in the following business areas: Manufacturing (FMCG), IT Enabled Service, Shipping, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Agro-based firms (including Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Packaging Industry, Cement Industry, Steel
