Responsibilities & Context
Akij Bakers Limited is the largest and renowned company that specializes in producing and distributing high-quality bakery products in Bangladesh. The renowned brand name, Bakeman’s, Funtastic, FAST, Yum, and Hi5. Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Assistant Manager (Production-Biscuit)”.

The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:      

  • Plan & supervise the production activities to support the daily production demand in accordance with set standards & procedures maintaining the consistency in quality of the products.
  • Initiations in improving the productivity, control the process loss, reduce the down time of the production machinery for cost effective productions.
  • Able to maintain minimum inventory level by optimizing & controlling the material flow.
  • Responsible for establishing GMP, FSMS & other relevant ISO standards to produce safe food.
  • Able to generate management reports for evaluation & to communicate information to the higher management maintaining chain of command.

Requirements

Education: BSc in food engineering from a reputed university

Experience

  • At least 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread)

Additional Requirements: Candidate must have experience on food production like biscuit, bakery item etc. in food industry.
