Position: Assistant Manager – M&E and Learning

The Programme for HIV and AIDS under the Health System and Population Studies Division (HSPSD) has been providing quality HIV prevention services to key populations at risk since 2010. This has been achieved through collaboration with the Government of Bangladesh, donors, NGOs, and CBOs. The programme has recently undertaken initiatives to reach hard-to-reach community groups through innovative service delivery approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of Community Led Monitoring (CLM) activities in line with programme goals and objectives
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor programme activities and ensure data quality
- Coordinate the collection and verification of community-level data
- Analyse data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
- Engage with community members and stakeholders to incorporate feedback into programme implementation
- Prepare reports on CLM findings and advocate to national stakeholders for service delivery improvements
- Share insights with Sub-Recipients (SRs), Sub-Sub Recipients (SSRs), programme managers, and other partners
- Train and support community members and stakeholders in CLM processes and data management
- Establish mechanisms for continuous community feedback to support programme enhancement
- Prepare and submit donor reports on a quarterly or bi-annual basis
- Organise and lead Community Consultative Group (CCG) meetings and site dialogues, promote national ownership, and use data insights for advocacy
Educational Requirements
- Master of Public Health (MPH) from a reputed institution
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), particularly working with key populations (gender and sexually diverse groups)
Contract Type and Duration
- Fixed-term basis for 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and fund availability
Salary & Benefits
- Annual salary: Tk. 1,608,570 (inclusive of house rent, conveyance, and other admissible benefits)
- 14.8% provident fund contribution
