Position: Associate Officer – Community Group (CG)

Job Context

An Associate Officer – COMs & Religious Engagement/Community Group/Community Centre & Information Service Centre is responsible for capacity building and supervision, preparing work plans, and mobilisation at camp level. The role supports the implementation of camp-level activities to achieve targets with quality through activity monitoring.

Responsibilities include facilitating various training sessions and supporting the Officer – COMs/CG/CC&ISC in addressing complaints and feedback, information services, PSN identification, rules and regulations, and the code of conduct by volunteers in a timely, responsible, and professional manner. Conducting morning sessions with volunteers/targeted participants, weekly meetings and debriefings, monthly meetings, project planning meetings, experience sharing, learning, reporting and documentation, and morale-building are also major responsibilities of this position.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Type of contract: Fixed term contract
  • Project: Sustainable Solutions and Protection for the Rohingya Community in Camps (CBP Project), (Funded by UNHCR)
  • Duration of Contract: Up to 31 December 2025 (if not extended)

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • University degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a combination of relevant education and experience

Experience

  • At least 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
