Educational Qualification:
- Graduation from any reputed University.
- Any certified course on Tourism and Hospitality Management is preferred.
Experience: At least 05 years of considerable experience in the supervision of corporate cafeterias or managerial experience in the food service industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily office Cafeteria operation and management.
- Oversee operations, including inventory, meal planning, food preparation schedule, food testing, and checking the quality and quantity of food received.
- Prepare a monthly budget for the cafeteria. Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste.
- Maintain records of inventory supplies; supervise storage of food items; prepare weekly orders of supplies and produce if needed.
- Supervise and ensure that cafeteria operations follow all sanitation and health regulations and that meals meet nutritional standards.
- Manage and train cafeteria staff regularly, plan work schedules, assign food service personnel duties, and motivate them to provide excellent customer service.
- Keep detailed administrative records and reports regarding meal plans and costs and handle receipts and cash.
- Inspect & supervise the cleaning of facilities and equipment regularly.
- Perform equipment checks and minor upkeep & ensure kitchen equipment is in top running condition.
Skills and competencies:
- Proficient knowledge of food service management principles and practices.
- Proven management experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
