Consultant/Specialist (Cardiology) | SMC
Social Marketing Company, a large well-reputed not-for-profit company, involved in implementing health and family planning programs throughout the country, wishes to recruit the following position. The company seek a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to reach the goal of SMC. The incumbent will be recruited as part time basis initially for one-year period, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance.
Position Title: Consultant/Specialist (Cardiology) – Part Time (1 Position)
Job Location: SMC Diagnostic and Consultation Centre, Khulna
Responsibilities:
- The Consultant/Specialist will provide consultancy services at Outpatient Department of SMC Diagnostic and Consultation Centre, Khulna.
- Ensure appropriate diagnosis, treatment advice, and follow-up care to patients in accordance with standard medical practice and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with other medical and non-medical personnel for ensuring quality of services and patient satisfaction.
- Perform duty at the evening shift 3 hours preferably from 6 pm and 6 days a week (except Friday).
Qualification & Experience:
- MBBS with FCPS or MD in Cardiology or any relevant higher degree.
- Updated BMDC registration is essential (Consultants who are currently in service can also apply).
- At least 3 years of experience in doing consultancy service as a Cardiologist in hospitals or clinics.
- Able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and ensure that doctor-patient confidentiality will be maintained at all times.
- Expert diagnostic skills, empathetic and compassionate.
- Effective communication skills.
