Job Specification
The Director of Food & Beverage will oversee and manage all aspects of the hotel’s F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and catering. This role requires strategic planning, operational excellence, and innovative leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences and achieve financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the F&B department’s performance, including revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee the daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with hotel standards
  • Create and monitor budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability for all F&B operations
  • Lead menu planning and development in collaboration with the culinary team, incorporating market trends and guest preferences
  • Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and addressing customer feedback promptly
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health standards as per regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote F&B outlets and services
  • Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff, fostering a positive work culture and high performance
  • Monitor and analyze F&B trends, including competitor performance and market innovations
  • Collaborate with other departments to support special events, banquets, and hotel-wide initiatives
  • Prepare and present regular reports on F&B performance, including financial results and operational insights
  • Act as an ambassador for the hotel’s F&B offerings, building strong relationships with guests, vendors, and industry partners

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or specialized in related field.
  • Certification in F&B Management or Culinary Arts is an advantage.

Experience

  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Hotel

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in F&B operations, including at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a 5-star hotel or luxury property.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
  • Expertise in food and beverage trends, guest service, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in F&B software and technology tools.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
