Executive, Corporate Affairs | Advanced Chemical Industries Limited (ACI)
Responsibilities & Context
- Assist in organizing and preparing annual reports, agendas, notices, and minutes for Board of Directors’ meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGM), and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGM).
- Maintain statutory registers, including the Registers of Members, Directors, and Secretaries.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance documents with regulatory authorities, such as the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC).
- Manage and maintain the company’s deeds of agreements, ensuring proper documentation and ease of accessibility.
- Handle regulatory affairs, including acquiring and renewing trade licenses, fire licenses, environmental permits, and Kolkarkhana licenses.
- Collaborate with statutory auditors to ensure timely audits and compliance with audit regulations.
- Coordinate and manage tasks with BIDA (Bangladesh Investment Development Authority), including company registration, investment applications, and compliance requirements.
- Handle immigration-related tasks such as work permits, visa processing, and renewals for expatriates, in collaboration with the Immigration Office.
- Ensure proper compliance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Information System, Bachelor of Law (LLB) in Law
- Professional degree in Chartered Secretariat from ICSB will be preferred
Experience
- 2 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Banks, Manufacturing (FMCG), Group of Companies
Additional Requirements: Age 25 to 35 years
