
General Banking Officer | Modhumoti Bank
Job Responsibilities
- Attract potential clients by marketing the Bank’s products and services, with a focus on deposit acquisition in alignment with the Bank’s business objectives.
- Achieve business objectives in deposit mobilization, card sales, and cross-selling of banking products.
- Maintain and grow low-cost deposits (CASA – Current Account and Savings Account) through strategic client acquisition, corporate engagements, and relationship building to expand the Bank’s deposit portfolio.
- Manage account opening, closing, and other account opening related services by collecting all required documentation and ensuring compliance of laws and regulations and regulatory requirements.
- Process client requests for cheque books, debit cards, and payment orders after proper verification and documentation.
- Handle the issuance, encashment, renewal, and closure of fixed deposit, deposit schemes, and other term accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Deliver customer service across all general banking functions in accordance with internal service standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain high-quality customer relationships through prompt, courteous, and effective communication and service delivery.
- Monitor and periodically review high-risk customer profiles to prevent fraudulent or suspicious activities.
Educational Requirements: Minimum Graduation in any discipline having no 3rd class in academic career
Experience Requirements: 4 (four) – 10 (ten) years of working experience in relevant field in any reputed Bank / financial institution.
