Graphics Designer

The Role
Shikho is looking for an awesome, creative, ambitious and confident “Graphics Designer” to join the build-out of a new and pioneering creative team who will help shape and drive the future of Bangladeshi education technology.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
You’ll join at an exciting time where you can make a huge impact. Here is a selection of tasks you could be working on:

  • Bringing educational lesson briefs and scripts to life by creating original and engaging content with a strong design aesthetic
  • Creating designs, backgrounds, shapes and dynamic typography using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites.
  • Using the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
  • Collaborate with our in-house creatives and academic experts when needed but also work autonomously and independently according to tight targets and deadlines. Working with copywriters and creative director to produce the final design
  • Integrating technical and visual solutions into a design concept
  • Follow storyboard and design reference accurately to work in a range of styles with minimum supervision

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in the fields of Graphic Designing
  • Excellent knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office
  • A Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
  • Deep understanding and technical skill when it comes to design and drawing
  • Strong portfolio to showcase which highlights your skills and experience.
  • You have a drive for results, a pride in quality of work, a professional attitude and are a dedicated team player.
  • An innovative thinker brimming with creative, well-grounded ideas.
  • Strong grasp of the principle of design, layout and frame composition.

The Important Bits
Job type: Full Time, 5 Days a Week, 10 AM to 6 PM (or equivalent hours)
Location: Gulshan, Dhaka
Salary: Gross BDT 25,000 to BDT 30,000 per month will be offered depending on the experience; (subject to statutory deductions)
