Housekeeping Manager | Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka

Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, a 5-Star Hotel in Dhaka, Bangladesh; is being operated by Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Singapore and a member of the Global Hotel Alliance encompassing over 450 upscale and luxury hotels & resorts globally.

Responsibility:

Housekeeping Manager is a key leadership role within the Hotel, oversee the Housekeeping Department activities and uphold the highest standards of luxury, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction in conjunction with PPHG Corporate Policy. The incumbent has to perform the following duties but not limited to, as follows:

• Oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring flawless cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, suites, public areas, heart of the house, etc.
• Handle and resolve all guest queries, complaints, problem and special request and any other issues that may arise as and when required basis in an efficient manner and to establish an amicable relationship with all clients, customers and guests of the Hotel.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper to develop and maintain SOPs for all housekeeping functions in line with Corporate Policy.
• Knowledge about Hotel’s Fire, Security and Safety procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper to manage budget, cost control, and inventory, including linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare & Implement associates Roster and ensure proper staffing based on Guest Arrival- Departure, Group Check In- Check out, VVIP Visit, Banquet Events etc.
• Monitor guest feedback in Trust You, and handle special requests or service recovery with professionalism.
• Provide & arrange proper training for the Associates of Housekeeping Department and ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of Department objectives, policy, procedures & Code of Business Conduct.
• Perform any other lawful assignment given by the Executive Housekeeper on requirement basis.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Graduate from a recognized University. Hospitality degree will get preference.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Housekeeping Department in a managerial role in any recognized Hotel.
• Maximum 45 (forty-five) years of age as of last date of submitting the application.
• Age and Experience limit may be relaxed for deserving candidates as per the discretion of the Management.

Other Requirements:

• Strong Leadership skills & administrative capabilities are required to execute the JD of this job role.
• Presentable personality, well-groomed, courteous and excellent inter-personal relationship skills.
• Command of the English language both written and verbal.
• Multi-tasking skill and can handle the work pressure.
• Other language proficiency will be counted as an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
• Should have a “Can Do Attitude”.
• Ready to work extra hours irrespective of Duty schedule based on emergency situations.
