Responsibilities & Context
NGO Forum for Public Health is a leading organization dedicated to improving public health and sustainable development. As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and efficiency, we are rolling out an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to enhance our operational effectiveness. To ensure the success of this rollout and the continued support of general ICT operations, we are hiring an ICT Analyst who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, troubleshooting the ERP software, and supporting broader ICT needs.
- ERP Software Management
- Oversee the implementation and operational management of the ERP system.
- Monitor ERP system performance, ensuring uptime and responsiveness.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues, escalating to vendors as necessary.
- Customize the ERP system to meet organizational requirements while maintaining data integrity.
- Train end-users and provide ongoing support to enhance ERP system adoption.
- ICT Operations Support
- Manage and maintain the organization’s ICT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Oversee ICT security protocols, ensuring compliance with organizational.
- Provide first and second-level ICT support to staff.
- Manage ICT inventories, including hardware and software licenses.
- Collaborate with other departments to align ICT services with organizational needs.
- Documentation and Reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for the ERP system, including workflows, manuals, and system changes.
- Generate reports on system performance and usage metrics.
- Provide regular updates to management on ICT operations and ERP system status.
Requirements
Education
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Educational background must provide a strong foundation in ICT principles, software development, and systems management.
- Advanced degrees demonstrate depth in technical knowledge and problem-solving.
- Possession of certifications like ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), or equivalent is essential.
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency
Additional Requirements
- Age at most 40 years
- 5 years of proven experience in managing ICT operations. configuring, maintaining, and supporting diverse ICT environments, showcasing their ability to handle a range of technical challenges independently.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing ERP software solutions such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is essential.
- The candidate must have experience configuring ERP systems to align with organizational needs, ensuring seamless workflows and data integrity.
- Strong capabilities in identifying, analyzing, and resolving system errors.
- Experience in managing ICT infrastructure, including network administration, hardware configurations, and security protocols, is essential.
- Hands-on experience in creating secure and efficient ICT environments.
- Experience in operating, maintaining, and customizing ERP systems for specific organizational requirements.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in database systems like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with network systems, including setup and management of firewalls, LAN/WAN, and other security practices.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to safeguard sensitive organizational data against unauthorized access.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar language.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to train and support non-technical staff in ERP and ICT operations.
- High level of organizational and time management skills.
