Responsibilities & Context

  • Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business objectives
  • Analyzing financial performance, variances, and trends to provide insights and recommendations
  • Preparing periodic financial reports and dashboards for senior management
  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS
  • Managing cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies
  • Implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies
  • Coordinating audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors
  • Identifying financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitoring and controlling costs to improve profitability
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Managing financial risks related to contracts, investments, and expenditures
  • Leading and mentoring the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals
  • Providing financial guidance to executives and department heads

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)

Experience

  • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Food (Packaged), E-commerce

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 30 years
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or CMA are a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position
  • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
