Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) is a non-government; non-profit; non-partisan organization represents the interest of the working people in Bangladesh. BLF works for the welfare of workers, working people, professionals, women, children, employee and families by undertaking various programs and projects. We share a common determination to organise, defend human rights and labour standards in Bangladesh, and promote the growth of workers’ organisations for the benefit of all working men and women and their families.

BLF is inviting applications from 5 (Five) young, energetic, and dynamic individuals for the position of Program Intern at its Head Office in Dhaka. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates eager to launch their careers in the development sector. BLF encourages freshers to grow professionally by gaining hands-on experience in program planning, coordination, and implementation. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful development initiatives while building a strong foundation for a future in nonprofit and social impact work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating program activities and events
  • Support data collection, documentation, and reporting
  • Contribute to research and content development
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the program team
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders and partners as needed

Requirements

Education

  • Masters
  • Recently completed Master Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field

Additional Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Interest in the development or nonprofit sector
