
Project Officer | BRAC
Position: Project Officer, Capacity Development & Planning, BRAC Education Programme (Contractual)
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for managing the project’s Learning Management System (LMS) and providing technical support for all digital learning components. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless and engaging learning experience for 10,000 TVET students in a blended learning environment, encompassing self-paced modules and live online classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain uploading and organising self-paced course content (videos, reading materials, quizzes).
- Oversee the integration and smooth functioning of live class links (e.g., Zoom) within the LMS.
- Manage student enrolment, track progress, and generate reports on user activity and course completion from the LMS.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for students and trainers facing issues with the LMS or other digital tools.
- Provide troubleshooting support for login issues, content access, and live session connectivity.
- Develop user guides and provide orientation to trainers on how to effectively use the LMS for teaching and assessment.
- Ensure digital content is optimised for the LMS platform and accessible to users with limited internet.
- Gather feedback from users to identify areas for improvement in the LMS and overall digital learning experience.
- Support the administration of digital assessments and the collection of project data through the platform.
- Possess excellent Bangla spelling to ensure accuracy and consistency in training materials and communications.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Additional Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to support non-technical users.
- Proficiency in LMS administration, content uploading, and user management.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with blended learning models and online collaboration tools (Zoom, etc.).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor in Education/ Social Science or any relevant subject.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 6 months of experience in managing Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Google Classroom) and supporting digital learning projects.
