Requirements
Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (MSc)
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks
Additional Requirements
- Age at most 35 years
- Related experience in Banking will get preference.
- Knowledge on Bangladesh Bank guideline on classification of various types of loan and related circulars.
- Knowledge on Artha Rin Adalat Ain-2003 and on N. I Act.
- Knowledge on negotiating with defaulter clients for Re-schedule and compromise settlement.
- Technique of obtaining / gathering knowledge on the location, ownership and description of mortgagor and mortgage properties, ability to identify CS,SA, RS, BS, Land Jarip, Porcha & BDS.
- Knowledge of pressurizing defaulter clients by official process and force for settlement.
- Knowledge on making/preparing/guiding panel lawyer for drafting plaint for cases/suits.
- Knowledge on lower court procedures and attending court to protect Bank interest while giving witness.
- Sourcing potential buyers to dispose of mortgage properties.
- Must have strong physical fitness to undertake field visit at all time (Day/Night)
- Excellent computer knowledge, especially on MS WORD, MS EXCEL & MS POWER POINT.
Responsibilities & Context
- Physical visit to the defaulter client, guarantor, mortgage property (arrange to place bank’s signboard) and preparation of visit report thereof for the management appraisal.
- A certain correctness of mortgage property from local Land office and local residents.
- To take all necessary step for recovery of the Bank due’s through Re-schedulement, Declassification and Compromise Settlement with the defaulter clients.
- To prepare account synopsis for the Management/Board for their decision on settlement proposal of defaulter clients and prepare sanction letter after getting approval.
- To monitor the reschedule/settlement accounts for regular payment as per settlement arrangement. To keep total security cheque and issue remainder letter to the client for payment as necessary.
- Prepare & monitor issuance of final demand notice to defaulter client, guarantor & mortgagor.
- To make all related correspondence to the defaulter client in connection with the settlement.
- Liaison with Legal Department for issuance of legal notice and subsequent filing of case under NI Act & Artha Rin Adalat Ain-2003.
- To conduct with panel solicitors to prepare case summary for the Legal procedure against the defaulter client under N.I Act section-138, Artha Rin Adalat Ain-2003 and others.
- To attend the various courts after filing the suit against the defaulter clients on different date fixed by the court till final judgment of the suits/cases.
- Prepare and submission of court progress and lawyers skill of handling respective case.
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports on Non-performing Loan (NPL) and Recovery Report as well as provides all information to the Management.
- Prepare Board Memo for submission to higher Management and report for submission to BB & prepare reply for BB queries.
- Keep ready photocopy of all Land related papers and chain of ownership of mortgagor.
- Prepare account liability position as per latest BB instruction with the help of IT application.
- Work as a team to achieve monthly recovery target.
- To source buyers for selling mortgage property.
