position: Senior Officer – Resource Mobilisation (Start Fund Bangladesh)
Qualifications and Experience
- Working knowledge of compliance requirements for institutional donors such as FCDO, SIDA or USAID BHA
- Excellent communication and coordination skills in English
- Able to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience
- Strong storytelling abilities, experience developing proposals and writing for impact
- Extensive experience of donor reporting, including high quality writing skills
- Experience in writing pitches, technical bids, proposals and complex budget preparations
- Experience of working with private and bilateral donors
- Experience in organising donor trips
- Building relationships across international and remote-working teams
- Project management
- Understanding of issues in the humanitarian system
- Ability to develop strong pitches for various styles of donors
- Previous experience with innovative funding models such as pooled funds or DRF is desirable
- Confidence in public speaking, presentation, and representing Start Network at strategic events
