Trainee Assistant Officer | Eastern Bank

Position: Bank Representative (Trainee Assistant Officer), Agent Banking

Responsibilities

• Bank Representatives are Eastern Bank employees who will be posted at the agent banking premises to ensure the following tasks on behalf of the bank. Agent banking premises are owned by the agents appointed by the bank under specific agreement between the bank and agents according to the central bank guidelines. Usually one bank representative is posted at each agent banking store.
• Overall monitor and supervision of Agent Outlet
• Acquire new business and strengthen customer relationship
• Implement sales strategies for Agent Banking
• Ensure authenticity of Data for M&B and record purpose
• Manage agent outlet effectively & efficiently to drive sustainable business
• Guide and monitor the agent staffs

Qualification

• Passionate and energetic individuals having a graduation with business background
• Prior experience (at least 6 months) in a similar role will get preference, however fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
• Geographical mobility and flexibility
• Excellent in communication skills. Fluency in English is much expected
• Good in interpersonal skills, having the ability to establish rapport and negotiate issues
• Applicants must be highly motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Conversant with computer literacy – ability to navigate online platforms and work with Microsoft Office Applications.
