Jagannath University admission tests to begin on 13 December
 
                          The admission tests for the 2025–26 academic session at Jagannath University (JnU) are set to begin on 13 December, starting with the E-Unit examination under the Faculty of Fine Arts. The university authorities finalised the full schedule during the 75th (emergency) meeting of the Academic Council, held on Wednesday (29 October) at the Vice-Chancellor’s conference room.
The meeting was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Rezaul Karim, PhD. Treasurer Professor Dr Sabina Sharmin, deans of various faculties, department chairmen, and other council members were also present. The council discussed and approved the final dates for the undergraduate (honours) and BBA first-year admission tests for the upcoming academic session.
As per the approved schedule, the E-Unit (Faculty of Fine Arts) test will take place on 13 December 2025. The A-Unit (Faculty of Science and Life & Earth Science) test is scheduled for 26 December, followed by the C-Unit (Faculty of Business Studies) on 27 December. The D-Unit (Faculty of Social Science) examination will be held on 9 January 2026, while the B-Unit (Faculty of Arts and Law) test will conclude the admission cycle on 23 January 2026.
University officials stated that detailed information regarding the application procedure, eligibility requirements, exam venues, and seat plans will be published soon on the official Jagannath University website.
