Applications are invited from the prospective students desiring to take a research-based, 1.5-year-long programme for the Master of Science in Software Engineering (MSSE), to be offered by the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), University of Dhaka.

Admission Requirements

• Must have a 4-year Bachelor (Honours) degree in Software Engineering or CS/CSE/IT or equivalent with CGPA at least 3.25 on a scale of 4.00
• Must have at least CGPA 3.5 on a scale of 5.00 in both S.S.C. & H.S.C./ equivalent examinations, and the total CGPA of S.S.C and H.S.C should be at least 8.00
• Candidates having Bachelor degree with a CGPA scale more or less than 4.00/ Foreign Bachelor degree or Grades in O/A Level or Divisions in S.S.C/H.S.C (before GPA system) should contact IIT office before applying
• Candidates who have completed the undergraduate final examination and expect to get the result by 02 April, 2026 can apply.
