The Department of Political Science at the University of Dhaka is inviting applications for the 19th Batch (1st Semester) of the Professional Master in Governance Studies (PMGS) programme.

Programme Details

• Duration: The programme lasts for eighteen (18) months.
• Class Schedule: Classes are held every Friday and Saturday.

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Background: Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 2nd Class or a CGPA of 2.50 is required in all public examinations, including the Bachelor’s degree.
• Target Audience: Candidates working in both government and non-government sectors are encouraged to apply.

Application Process

• Form Collection: Application forms and relevant documents can be collected from the Department of Political Science office until 29 January 2026.
• Collection Times:
  • Saturday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Friday: 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
• Application Fee: BDT 1,500 (One thousand five hundred Taka only).
• Alternative Application: Candidates may also apply by scanning the QR code provided in the notice.
• Required Documents: Completed forms must be submitted within the deadline along with three copies of passport-sized photographs and attested photocopies of all examination certificates and mark sheets.
