The PMIT programme comprises a total of 36 credit hours, including 30 credits of theory and a 6-credit research project. Students have the opportunity to engage in research projects focused on AI and Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Image Analysis, Bioinformatics, and Software Engineering.

To support its students, the institute offers reduced tuition fees and scholarships for the top 5% of students based on their semester results. Classes are conducted on Fridays and Saturdays by distinguished professors and experts, with transportation facilities available for participants.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold at least a CGPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 (or a 2nd class equivalent) in one of the following academic backgrounds:

• A 4-year Bachelor degree in CS, CE, CSE, ECS, CIT, ICT, IT, or Software Engineering.
• A 4-year B.Sc. in EEE, ECE, or ETE.
• A 3-year Honours or Pass degree plus a 1-year Masters in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Geological Sciences, or Environmental Sciences (provided the applicant has completed at least two core IT subjects such as Data Structures, Operating Systems, or Database Management).
• A 4-year Engineering/Honours degree or a 3-year Honours/Pass plus a 1-year Masters in any subject, supplemented by a 1-year PGD in an IT-related field.

Admission Test and Syllabus

The selection process involves a one-hour MCQ-based admission test totaling 60 marks. The marks are distributed as follows:

• Basics of ICT: 25 Marks
• Basic Math: 25 Marks
• English: 10 Marks
