750 fully funded scholarships in Sweden

The Swedish government is offering fully funded scholarships for international students, with the application deadline set for 25 February  2026. Under this program, students will have the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree in Sweden.

The Swedish Institute (SI) offers scholarships for more than 750 master’s programs. This fully funded scholarship covers one- or two-year master’s programs. The official name of this scholarship is the Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals (SI Scholarship). Students from 32 countries around the world, including Bangladesh, are eligible to apply.

To apply for the SI Scholarship, applicants must first apply for admission to a master’s program in Sweden.

  • A monthly living allowance of SEK 12,000
  • A travel grant of SEK 15,000
  • Health insurance coverage
  • Membership in the SI Network for Future Global Professionals and the SI Alumni Network, providing strong networking opportunities

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a citizen of Bangladesh
  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate proficiency in English
  • Must have at least 3,000 hours of work experience (equivalent to approximately 1.5 years of full-time work)
  • CV, motivation letter, references, and other documents must be of first-class quality in both content and presentation
  • The master’s program applied for must be eligible for the SI Scholarship
  • Must secure admission to a Swedish university and receive an offer letter by January 2026
  • Applicants who have previously obtained a degree from a Swedish university or college are not eligible to apply

  • CV (using the Swedish Institute’s prescribed format)
  • Letters of reference (using the Swedish Institute’s prescribed format)
  • Proof of work experience and leadership (using the Swedish Institute’s prescribed format)
  • Copy of valid passport and national ID
  • Motivation letter
