Tokyo Metropolitan University is a public research university located in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. Established in 1949, it has become one of the country’s most important universities. The university is managed under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. At present, around 10,000 students are enrolled, and the number of international students is gradually increasing.

Eligibility

• To apply for a Master’s degree, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
• To apply for a PhD, applicants must hold a Master’s degree.
• In addition, applicants may need to show work experience at research institutes, government agencies, or business organisations.
