Dutch-Bangla Bank has invited applications for its 2025 scholarship programme from students who have passed the SSC or equivalent examinations this year. The initiative aims to support meritorious and financially disadvantaged students in pursuing higher secondary education.

This scholarship is part of the bank’s long-standing commitment to educational development at the HSC, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. Applicants must submit their applications online.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following minimum GPA requirements (excluding the fourth subject):
– Students from rural or underdeveloped areas: GPA 4.83
– Students from city corporation areas: GPA 5.00
– Students from district town areas: GPA 5.00

Scholarship Benefits

Selected students at the HSC level will receive the following support for a duration of two years:
– Annual clothing allowance: Tk1,000
– Monthly stipend: Tk2,500
– Annual educational materials grant: Tk2,500

Application Guidelines

Applicants must not be receiving any other scholarships apart from a government stipend. A total of 90 percent of the scholarships are reserved for students from rural or underdeveloped regions, and 50 percent are reserved for female students. Any discrepancy in the GPA provided will lead to cancellation of the application.

The application deadline is 6 August 2025. A preliminary selection list will be published on 25 August 2025, followed by document verification at bank branches from 26 August to 15 September 2025. The final results will be published on the bank’s official website.

Scanned copies of the following documents are required: a passport-size colour photo of the applicant, passport-size photos of parents, and the SSC or equivalent marksheet and certificate.

No applications will be accepted via post, courier, or in person. All updates regarding the application and results will be available on the official website.
