Call for Applications for 2024-2025 Community Solutions Program (CSP)
U.S. Embassy Dhaka announced a call for applications for the 2024-2025 Community Solutions Program (CSP). This fully funded U.S. Department of State exchange program provides fellows with a unique opportunity to develop technical and leadership skills by collaborating with U.S. community-based organizations and by receiving individualized professional coaching. The program additionally provides emerging Bangladeshi leaders aged between 26 to 39 working in gender equality, peace and conflict resolution, environmental issues, and government transparency and civic engagement a chance to build a global network of like-minded community development professionals.
Program Components:
Four-month U.S.-based Practicum: CSP fellows are matched with non-profit organizations, private entities, and government offices across the United States, where they work with American experts to address issues related to issues impacting their own communities.
Community Leadership Institute: The cornerstone of the program, the Community Leadership Institute, is an academy that provides customized learning and coaching to each fellow before, during, and after the U.S. experience. CSP fellows participate in online sessions and in-person workshops, receive professional coaching, engage in experiential learning through tailored professional fellowships at U.S. host institutions, and interact with other professionals in their field.
Community Action Projects and Networking Opportunities: CSP fellows develop innovative six-month follow-on community action projects in collaboration with their U.S. host institutions and implement these projects upon returning to their home countries. Fellows continue to network and collaborate with like-minded leaders from around the world on global development issues through alumni activities and opportunities offered through the Community Leadership Institute online platform.
Application Information and Deadline:
Applications are due by Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. ET (Washington D.C. time).
