Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of a country maintaining diplomatic relations with Japan
- Must have been born on or after 2 April 2001
- Must have completed 12 years of formal education or be expected to complete by March/August 2026
- Willingness to learn Japanese and study in the Japanese language
- Must be in good physical and mental health to study in Japan
- Must be able to arrive in Japan between 1 and 7 April 2026 (or in autumn 2026 if direct university placement applies)
