Arsenal F.C. have won the Premier League for the first time in 22 years after Manchester City F.C. dropped points in a draw against AFC Bournemouth early Wednesday morning, Bangladesh time.

The result officially confirmed Arsenal as champions of England, ending a long wait that began after their famous unbeaten title-winning season in 2004.

For years, Arsenal struggled to compete with clubs like Manchester City F.C., Liverpool F.C., and Chelsea F.C.. The club went through difficult periods, including changes in management, missing out on the Champions League, and several disappointing league campaigns.

Things began to change under manager Mikel Arteta, who took charge in 2019. His early years were challenging, but Arsenal slowly rebuilt their squad with young and talented players.

Footballers such as Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard, and Declan Rice played key roles throughout the season as Arsenal remained consistent in the title race.

This season, Arsenal showed maturity, discipline, and strong performances in important matches. Their consistency helped them stay ahead while Manchester City F.C. failed to close the gap in the final stages of the campaign.

The title is also a major achievement for Mikel Arteta, whose long-term rebuilding plan has now brought the Premier League trophy back to North London.

For many Arsenal supporters, this is a historic moment. A whole generation of fans had never seen the club become league champions before. After 22 years of waiting, Arsenal are finally back at the top of English football.
