The 34-year-old forward, currently playing for Santos FC, is part of the initial group selected by the national team coaching staff. However, the final squad list will be confirmed in the coming days, with Neymar’s inclusion still pending final approval.

Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti is also expected to attend Santos’ upcoming match to closely monitor Neymar’s fitness and performance.

Neymar has been working his way back to full form after a lengthy injury layoff that limited his playing time in recent months. The upcoming friendlies will serve as Brazil’s final international window before the World Cup, giving Ancelotti and his staff one last opportunity to evaluate players.

His presence in the preliminary list signals that he remains an important figure in Brazil’s plans, despite uncertainties surrounding his recent club situation.

Final squad decisions for the March matches will be announced soon by Ancelotti.
