EDU Career Club, one of the most renowned clubs of EDU, is always determined to reduce the fundamental gap between students and the corporate. Besides arranging internship programs, this time the club started a new series named “Level Up” for the soft skill development of the students.
Soft skills are an essential part of improving one’s ability to work with others and can have a positive influence on furthering your career. The first two sessions of the series took place on the 8th of June in the EDU campus seminar with Rafeed Elahi Chowdhury from The Business Standard and Tanha Wahid Adrita from Nas Daily.
The core subjects of these first two sessions were ‘Presentation Skill improvement’ and ‘Communication and Networking Development’. The event was made possible by the immense support of the club’s Advisor, Mr. Mohammed Wahidul Islam, Immediate Past President Muntasir Hasnat, Current President Towhid Ahamad, Vice President Sakib Talukdar, General Secretary Abdullah Al Arefin, Organizing Secretary Shahrin Chowdhury Tanaz, Executive & Sub Body Members and General Members. The overall session was opened by Ms. Mobasshira Sultana Efa, director, research and development head of EDU Career Club, followed by Mr. Abdullah Al Arefin, General Secretory of EDU Career Club, to welcome the attendees and to familiarise the audience with the vision and mission of the club.
Lastly, East Delta University undergraduate students were given an opportunity to learn from the experts.
