Bangladeshi expatriate Professor Saidur Rahman has once again secured a place among the world’s top scientists, ranking seventh in the AD Scientific Index 2025 for engineering and technology research. He also holds the top position in Asia.
Previously, in 2024, ScholarGPS recognised him as the leading scientist in sustainable energy research. The same year, he ranked first among Malaysian scientists in energy research on Stanford-Elsevier’s list of the world’s top 2% scientists.
Originally from Mymensingh and a former BUET student, Professor Saidur is currently teaching at Sunway University, Malaysia. He has received multiple research awards from the university, including in 2019 and 2024.
Additionally, Web of Science ranked him first worldwide in nanofluid research. His achievements continue to inspire Bangladeshi students and expatriates in Malaysia, who take pride in his contributions to science.
