BRAC University has announced the suspension of all student bus services from Tuesday, 11 November 2025, until further notice, following reports of attacks on university and public transport vehicles, including incidents of arson.

The university stated that the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of students and staff.

It assured that no student would face penalties for attendance or assessment issues due to the suspension. Students have been advised to stay alert, avoid large gatherings, and follow official updates from the university and local authorities.

In an email sent to its students, BRAC University said it is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
