The Department of Youth Development, under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has announced a free freelancing training programme for job-seeking youth who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination. A notice has been issued for student enrollment, and no admission fee is required. Additionally, selected trainees will receive a daily stipend of Tk200.
According to the official announcement, the programme is part of the Employment Generation through Freelancing Training for Educated Job-Seeking Youth (First Revised) project. Training sessions are currently underway in 16 districts across eight divisions, and new applications are now being accepted for the upcoming batch.
Application process
Applications are open until 22 March 2025, and candidates from the following districts are eligible to apply:
- Dhaka Division: Dhaka, Gopalganj, Gazipur, Shariatpur, Madaripur, Rajbari
- Chattogram Division: Cumilla, Lakshmipur, Chandpur
- Rajshahi Division: Rajshahi
- Khulna Division: Narail
- Rangpur Division: Thakurgaon
- Barishal Division: Bhola
- Mymensingh Division: Sherpur
- Sylhet Division: Sylhet, Sunamganj

Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must have completed HSC or an equivalent qualification.
- Age limit: 18 to 35 years.
Training stipend
- Selected trainees will receive a daily stipend of Tk200.

Selection process
- A written test will be held on 23 March 2025.
- Successful candidates will proceed to the viva exam on 24 March 2025.
- The final list of selected candidates will be published on 27 March 2025.
Class schedule
- The training programme will run for three months.
- Classes will be held six days a week, eight hours per day.
- A total of 75 classes covering 600 hours will be conducted.
- Training will be fully offline, requiring in-person attendance.
