The government will award Tk10,000 and Tk 25,000 to top SSC and HSC scorers of 2024 under the Performance-Based Grants for Secondary Institutions (PBGSI) scheme.
This information was disclosed through an office order of the Directorate of Secondary & Higher Education. According to the notice, a lists of the highest scorers by upazila has been shared with local education offices.
The initiative falls under the Secondary Education Development Programme (SEDP). Missed recipients from previous years are also eligible.
Eligible students must open or update an Agrani Bank account by 25 May, reads the notice. To receive the award, students must submit their admit card or marksheet. Account details, signed by bank and education officers, must be submitted to Room 708, Education Bhaban, and emailed to [email protected] by 29 May.
