Jahangirnagar University (JU) will go on winter vacation from 18 January.

According to a notification signed by ABM Azizur Rahman, Acting Registrar of the university, all classes will remain suspended for five days, from 18 January to 22 January 2026.

However, all administrative offices of the university will remain closed for three days, from 18 January to 20 January 2026, the notification added.
