Mixed weather expected across Bangladesh during Eid-ul-Azha

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted varied weather across the country during Eid-ul-Azha, with some regions likely to see light to moderate rainfall, while others may experience heatwaves and high humidity.
Most areas, however, are expected to remain dry, reported by Dhaka Tribune. Meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque said on Friday (6 June) that light rain may occur in parts of eastern Dhaka Division, Sylhet, and Chattogram, though most regions will stay hot and dry. Despite the monsoon’s onset, it is yet to become fully active, resulting in sporadic rainfall.
Mild heatwaves may sweep Khulna, Rajshahi, and western Dhaka regions. The five-day outlook also predicts scattered showers with gusty winds and lightning in several divisions.
