The application process for first-year undergraduate programmes under the National University (NU) for the academic year 2024–25 is now underway.

Application deadline

Interested candidates can submit their initial online applications via the NU admission portal by midnight on 31 July, 2025. After downloading the pay slip, applicants must deposit an application fee of Tk1,000 and collect a printed copy of the form by 7 August.

The four-year honours programmes under the NU’s expanded campuses will be conducted under the university’s direct supervision. Further details can be found on the official admission website by selecting the Honours section and clicking on NU Undergraduate Program.

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
• Tourism and Hospitality Management
• Nutrition and Food Science

Eligibility criteria

For Humanities and Business Studies streams:

• SSC (or equivalent) in 2021–22 and HSC (or equivalent) in 2023–24
• Minimum GPA 3.0 in each exam and combined GPA of at least 6.5

For Science stream:

• SSC (or equivalent) in 2021–22 and HSC (or equivalent) in 2023–24
• Minimum GPA 3.5 in each exam and combined GPA of at least 7.5

For Technical Board applicants:
Students from HSC (Business Management), Diploma-in-Commerce, and HSC (Vocational) programmes can apply if they meet the above GPA criteria.

Admission Test

• Date: 5 September, 2025 (Friday)
• Time: 11:00am to 12:00pm
• Centres: NU-affiliated colleges in Dhaka and Gazipur metropolitan areas (centre details will be on the admit card)

Fees

• Application fee: Tk1,000
