Bangladesh’s National Board of Revenue has announced an essay competition to boost income tax awareness among students.

- ‘Ka’ Group (Classes VI-X)
- ‘Kha’ Group (Classes XI-XII)
Instructions:
Participants in ‘Ka’ Group should write an original essay of a maximum of 1000 words, and participants in ‘Kha’ Group should write an original essay of a maximum of 1500 words, in their own handwriting in Bengali on A4 size paper, on one side only. The essay must include the participant’s name, father’s/mother’s name, date of birth, address, a copy of their student ID/national ID card, mobile number, and the name of their educational institution.
Completed essays, along with the aforementioned information, must be submitted directly or by post to the following address: Room No. 704, Revenue Bhaban, Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000, or via email as a Word file (.doc/.docx) to ([email protected]) by 25 May, 2025, 3:00pm. The subject line of the postal envelope/email must clearly state the group (‘Ka’ Group or ‘Kha’ Group) and the title of the essay. Essays submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
First, second, and third place winners from both ‘Ka’ and ‘Kha’ groups will be awarded prizes, certificates, crests, and books separately. The decision of the competition committee will be considered final.
