Metro rail services in Dhaka will remain suspended on Eid day, according to a notice issued by the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).

The announcement was made in a statement signed by the organisation’s Director (Administration) AKM Khairul Alam yesterday (16 March).

The notice stated that regular metro rail operations will resume from the day after Eid, following the scheduled timetable.

Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on 21 March, subject to the sighting of the moon.
