The National University (NU) has postponed the sixth batch of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training for college teachers.

The five-day, face-to-face session was scheduled for September and meant for teachers of undergraduate (pass and honours) and postgraduate courses from Cox’s Bazar and nearby districts. NU authorities cited “unavoidable circumstances” but confirmed the training will be rescheduled, with new dates to be announced later, reports Prothom Alo.

The CPD programme, funded by NU, aims to enhance teachers’ professional skills, promote modern teaching practices, and raise academic standards across affiliated colleges. Officials stressed that the postponement is temporary and that CPD training remains a key part of NU’s long-term teacher development strategy.
