Over 100 expelled, nearly 29,000 absent on SSC exam’s second day

On the second day of the SSC and equivalent examinations, a total of 101 individuals — 83 students and 18 invigilators — were expelled across various centres, while 28,943 students remained absent.

According to a notice from the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, SSC English First Paper, Dakhil Arabic Second Paper, and SSC & Dakhil Vocational Mathematics-2 exams were held on Tuesday (15 April).

Among them, 31 students were expelled during the English First Paper exam under nine general boards. In the Dakhil Arabic Second Paper, 16 students and 3 invigilators were expelled, while 36 students and 15 invigilators were expelled in the Vocational Mathematics-2 exam.

Out of 1,757,036 registered candidates, 1,724,093 appeared, with nearly 29,000 remaining absent nationwide.

The examinations were conducted at 3,706 centres across the country, excluding 9 international centres. This year, over 1.9 million candidates have registered under the general, madrasa, and technical education boards.
