Over 300 National University students penalised for malpractice

The National University’s disciplinary committee has penalised over 300 students for adopting unfair means during the 2022 honours fourth-year examinations held at various college centres across the country. The list of penalised students was published yesterday (13 March) on the university’s official website.

A meeting of the examination disciplinary committee was held on 12 February to review complaints received from acting officers, examiners, observers, and chief examiners at different college centres. Based on the findings, the committee decided on penalties for the accused students in accordance with various academic regulations, subject to approval by the academic council. As a result, the students have been handed punishments of varying durations.
