The election to the Rajshahi University Central Students Union (Rucsu) will take place on 15 September, with both voting and result announcement scheduled for the same day.

The election schedule was announced during a press briefing at the Senate Building of Rajshahi University on 28 July. Professor Md Enamul Haque confirmed the date on behalf of Chief Election Commissioner Professor Amzad Hossain.

According to the schedule

. Nomination forms will be distributed from 17 to 19 August
. Nomination papers may be submitted on 21, 24, and 25 August
. Scrutiny of submitted papers will be conducted on 27 and 28 August
. A preliminary list of candidates will be published on 31 August
. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is 2 September
. The final list of candidates will be published on 4 September

This will be one of the key student elections of the year, as Rucsu plays an important role in student representation and campus activities at Rajshahi University.
