Schools across Bangladesh will remain closed for 40 days, from 2 March to 8 April, covering Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, and other public holidays.
The closure includes holidays for Dol Jatra, Independence Day, Jummatul Wida, and Shab-e-Qadr, as per the academic calendar.
Educational institutions will hold their last classes on 27 February, as 28 February and 1 March fall on Friday and Saturday.
Schools serving as SSC exam centres will remain closed for an extended period of two months and 10 days, as exams begin on 10 April.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has confirmed that the closure applies to all government and private schools.
