Transforming Cigarette Butts (CBs) Into Cotton Can Spark a Sustainable Business Revolution in Bangladesh

The supplementary duty rate on cigarette paper imports by commercial importers has been set at 300% instead of 150%.

Experts believe the move is aimed at curbing manufacture of fake branded cigarettes. They also said it would not result in an increased price of cigarettes.
