Smart Sohay app has officially launched on the Google Play Store, offering an AI-powered personalised learning platform for HSC students, university admission seekers, and job exam candidates across Bangladesh.

Designed by the teams behind Amar iSchool and Pioneer Alpha, Smart Sohay aims to redefine how learners prepare for exams, integrating cutting-edge features that tailor study plans based on user performance, past question trends, and personal learning habits.

Thousands have already downloaded the app, with early feedback overwhelmingly positive. Smart Sohay distinguishes itself through a blend of AI insights, a rich question bank, performance analytics, and user-friendly support tools. Its flagship feature — Smart Analysis and AI Suggestions — leverages extensive analysis of previous question trends to guide users strategically from day one of their preparation journey.

One of the standout tools is Flashcard, which categorises questions based on individual user responses — from frequently missed items to time-consuming topics. Users can then generate personalised mock tests focused on areas needing improvement.

The app also includes an innovative DoubtSolve feature, allowing users to submit questions in English, Bangla, or Banglish via text, handwriting, or textbook image uploads. AI-generated explanations are returned instantly, ensuring clarity on confusing topics in SSC, HSC, university, or job exam syllabuses.

A pilot programme run with over 100 learners across the country showed promising results. “Participants reduced preparation time by 10–15% while scoring 5–10 more marks in mock tests,” said Md Nasim, founder of the app. “In most cases, 60–80% of our AI-driven suggestions appeared in real exams.”

The app offers distinct packages tailored to HSC students from Science, Business Studies, Humanities, and English Version streams, alongside SSC, private university admission, and job exam modules. Subscriptions range from 1-month to 1-year durations, with up to six premium features per plan.

While the app currently focuses on multiple-choice question (MCQ) content, past creative questions (CQ) are available for review. Developers are working to roll out AI-supported CQ features and an iOS version soon.

Smart Sohay is also accessible to new users on a free trial basis, allowing limited access to all features before any payment commitment — a welcome departure from traditional ‘pay-first’ models.

In a digital age where traditional coaching struggles to adapt to individual learning needs, Smart Sohay emerges as a flexible, intelligent alternative. By pinpointing weak areas and reducing wasted effort, the app promises smarter, faster, and more efficient exam preparation for all learners.
