The Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has published the admission test results for the 2024-25 undergraduate programme. The results were released on the admission website at 12:30 AM on Thursday night. A total of 8,393 candidates qualified in Group A (Engineering and Urban & Regional Planning), while 398 were listed in Group B (Architecture).
Qualified candidates must submit their online choice forms between 24 February and 15 March, selecting their preferred departments. Group A candidates need to fill out a preference order for 11 options, while Group B applicants do not require any preferences.
The top 1,500 candidates from Group A and the top 100 from Group B have been invited for the first round of enrolment on 9 April. They must report in person between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM with the required documents. After verification, medical check-ups will be conducted the same day. On 10 April, students must deposit Tk 18,500 at Sonali Bank’s CUET branch to complete their admission process.
The finalised department allocations and the list of candidates for subsequent rounds will be published on 13 April. The admission process will continue until the orientation day if seats remain vacant.
The CUET admission test was held on 1 February, with 16,621 candidates competing for 931 seats across 12 departments, resulting in an 83% participation rate.
